Brown Selected By Minnesota Timberwolves in 2013 NBA Draft

NEW YORK - Lorenzo Brown was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 52nd overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft Thursday evening.
Brown is the first NC State player selected by the Timberwolves in the annual draft.
Brown, a second-team All-ACC selection by both the media and coaches in 2012-13, averaged 12.4 points, led the league in assists (7.2/gm) and ranked second in the conference in steals (2.0/gm). He started 32 contests this season. Brown started 95 of the 101 games he played during his collegiate career. He averaged 11.6 points during his three campaigns and is one of only three players in school history to record over 500 career assists (589).
According to various reports after the NBA Draft, C.J. Leslie will be signing witht he N.Y. Knicks, Richard Howell with the Denver Nuggets, and Scott Wood with the L.A. Clippers.
