Kay Yow Spring Football Game Set for Saturday

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State fans will get their first glimpse at Dave Doeren football on Saturday, as the first-year coach leads his squad in the fifth annual Kay Yow Spring Football Game at 1:30 p.m. at Carter-Finley Stadium.
The game will be broadcast on ESPN3 and on radio at 99.9 The Fan. Radio coverage with Gary Hahn, Johnny Evans and Mark Thomas will begin at 1 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to donate a minimum of $1 per person upon entrance, with proceeds going to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund and the Kay Yow Scholarship Endowment. Over the past four years, over $130,000 has been raised for the fight against cancer at the event.
Stadium parking gates will open at 8:30 a.m. and stadium gates 2-4 (west) and 6, 7, 8-9 (east) will open at 12:30 p.m., with seating available in the lower bowl of the stadium. Handicapped parking is available on both the east and west sides of the stadium and accessible entrances will be gates 3, 4, 6, 8 and 9.
Schedule cards and posters will be available on the concourse as well as season ticket information and ticket giveaways.
Saturday’s “Pickin’ at the Carter” will begin at 9:30 a.m. with celebrity BBQ judging by Terrence Holt, Earl Wolff and Scott Wood. Saturday will also include the Jr. Wolfpack Club Jump Zone and live music from The North Tower.
