Amerson Named to Sports Illustrated Preseason All-American Team

SI.com's 2012 Preseason All-America Team

Junior cornerback David Amerson has been named to the Sports Illustrated preseason All-American first-team.

Amerson has also been named to the Walter Camp Player of the Year Preseason Watch List, the Bronko Nagurski Trophy Watch List, the Bednarik Award Watch List, and the Jim Thorpe Award Watch List.

Last season, Amerson set the ACC and NC State single-season record for interceptions with 13 that mark ties for second in FBS history. He was named a Walter Camp and ESPN first-team All-American, was the winner of the Jack Tatum Award, and one of three finalists for the Thorpe Award.
