RALEIGH, N.C. – ESPN will broadcast NC State’s ACC/Big Ten Challenge game against Michigan from Crisler Arena in Ann Arbor on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 7:30 p.m.
This will be the third time NC State and Michigan have met in the 14th-annual matchup between the two power conferences, with the Wolverines winning the first contest, 68-61, in Ann Arbor in 2003 and the Pack taking the return engagement in Raleigh, 74-67, in 2006. NC State is 5-7 all-time in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge and 3-2 all-time in contests with Michigan.
“This will be a great opportunity for our team to take on a Michigan team that will probably be a top-10 squad when we play them at their arena,” NC State coach Mark Gottfried said.
All 12 games of the event will be aired on one of three ESPN cable networks: ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. The two-day event will feature some of the nation’s top college basketball programs as they play for conference supremacy and the Commissioners Cup.
All games will also be available via WatchESPN, which delivers live access to ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN3 on PCs, smartphones and tablets to fans who receive ESPN’s linear networks as part of their video subscription from Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Bright House Networks or Verizon FiOS TV.
