Joins David Thompson and Dick Dickey as one of only three NC State players to earn All-America honors three times … Was a consensus first-team All-America as a senior … Scored 1,967 points during his Wolfpack career – a record that stood until 1975, when David Thompson broke that mark … Helped NC State win four consecutive Southern Conference titles and two Dixie Classic titles … Was the Southern Conference's Most Outstanding Player in 1950.
