CHARLESTON, S.C. - The NC State rifle team remained undefeated in the SEARC this weekend, winning the conference championship with a team score of 2304. Four shooters were named to the All-SEARC team, while freshman Dani Foster took home first place individual honors.
The SEARC Championship was the fifth title for the Wolfpack in the past six years.
Foster, Madeline Pike, Bryan Cross, and William Teller all took home All-SEARC honors. Pike took second behind Foster, shooting a personal-best 586 in air rifle, followed by Cross in third and Teller in fourth.
The match marked the end of the season for all but one shooter. Foster will now move on to the NCAA Championships, were she will compete in smallbore. The competition will be held at Ohio State University Mar. 9-10.
