Rifle Team Heads To SEARC Championships

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State rifle team will compete in the SEARC Championships in Charleston, S.C., on Saturday. The Wolfpack is currently undefeated in the conference, and will look to win its fifth title in six years.

Freshman Dani Foster has led NC State all season, and will look to contest for the individual crown this weekend. She set a new school record in smallbore (580) and aggregate (1165) earlier in the season.

Foster has also been selected to compete at the NCAA Championships as an individual. The match will take place Mar. 9-10 at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

As a team, the Wolfpack has fired new records in air rifle (2318), smallbore (2292) and combined score (4596).
