The only player to place in the top 10 of the ACC’s five major statistical categories in 1979 … Led the Wolfpack in scoring for three seasons, one of just three NC State players to accomplish that feat … Earned first-team All-ACC honors in 1979 and ’80 … Ranks in the top five in Wolfpack history in scoring and field goals made … Also eighth in career steals … Is the only player in school history to be named the ACC Rookie of the Year … Was the District Player of the Year in 1980 … Was the 16th overall selection in the first round of the 1980 NBA draft by the then-Kansas City Kings.
