NC State Rifle Heads To GARC Championships

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State rifle team will travel to Oxford, Miss., this weekend, for the Great American Rifle Conference Championships. The match will begin on Friday, Feb. 24, and run until Sunday, Feb. 26.
The Wolfpack squad has shot five new school records this season. Individually, Dani Foster and Bryan Cross have both tied the school record in smallbore with a score of 578. Foster also set a new school record in aggregate with her 1165. The team has fired new records in air rifle (2318), smallbore (2292) and combined score (4596).
NC State is currently undefeated in the SEARC, and ranked No. 18 in the nation.
