RALEIGH, N.C. - The Wolfpack returns to action on Tuesday when it hosts seventh-ranked North Carolina at the RBC Center. Game time is 8 p.m., and RBC Center doors will open 90 minutes prior to the starting time.
In pre game, the 1989 NC State squad will receive the inaugural "Wolfpack Unlimited" Award. The honor will recognize individuals and teams that refuse to accept the status quo and exhibit the "Never Give Up" spirit of the Wolfpack. The 1989 squad featured such players as Chucky Brown, Rodney Monroe, Chris Corchiani, Tom Gugliotta, Brian Howard, Brian D'Amico, Mickey Hinnant, Jamie Knox, David Lee, Avie Lester, Kenny Poston, Kelsey Weems and Roland Whitley.
Tuesday's game will feature two of the top scoring teams in the ACC with State is averaging 73.8 points per game (3rd - ACC) and UNC is scoring 82.8 per game (1st - ACC).
Fans can hear listen to the game on the NC State Radio Networrk with Gary Hahn and Tony Haynes providing a description of the action. The contest can also be seen on the ACC Network with Steve Martin and Mike Gminski.

• This is the 221st meeting between NC State and North Carolina.
• Mark Gottfried will attempt to become only the third coach (Lowe, Robinson) to win his first home game versus UNC since ACC play began.
• Tuesday's game is a matchup of two of the top scoring teams in the ACC. State is averaging 73.8 points per game (3rd - ACC) and UNC is scoring 82.8 per game (1st - ACC).
• The game is also a matchup of the league's top two assist-to-turnover teams. The Wolfpack owns a 1.3 ratio, while UNC has a 1.5 ratio.
• NC State's 16.5 assists per game trails only UNC (17.9) among ACC schools for all games.

• C.J. Leslie has averaged 15.7 points over the last six games, including tying his career high of 21 versus FSU.
• Scott Wood leads the ACC in free throw percentage, connecting at a .919 clip.
• C.J. Williams is one of the ACC's most improved players. He has improved his scoring average from 4.7 last year to 11.7 this season for a net of +7.0.
• Richard Howell is the ACC's fourth leading rebounder with an average of 9.2 per game.
