NC State Remains Undefeated In SEARC

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The NC State rifle team remained undefeated in the SEARC this weekend, finishing the NCAA Qualifier, NRA Sectional and SEARC 6 match with a combined score of 4562. The Pack shot an air rifle score of 2280, and a score of 2282 for smallbore.
NC State's score of 4562 will count towards half of the team's qualification for the tournament. The other half will come from an average of the three top matches fired throughout the season.
NC State won both smallbore and air rifle in the NRA Sectional portion of the meet. Dani Foster placed first in both events, while Madeline Pike, Bryan Cross and Will Teller placed second, third, and fourth, respectively, in smallbore. Foster set a new school record with her aggregate score of 1165.
NC State will return to action next weekend at the Great American Rifle Conference Championships in Oxford, Miss. The competition will run from Friday, Feb. 24 until Sunday.
