RALEIGH, N.C. -- T.J. Warren is one of three McDonald's All-American recruits joining the NC State men's basketball team.
Even though he played high school basketball last year in New Hampshire at famed Brewster Academy, Warren is quite familiar with NC State, since he grew up in Durham, N.C., and his father Tony played for the Wolfpack under head coach Norm Sloan.
He's also familiar his incoming teammates. He and Rodney Purvis played on the same AAU team as 12-year-olds and he has been a frequent competitor against guard Tyler Lewis.
