Rifle To Take On Ole Miss, The Citadel

RALEIGH, N.C. -- The No. 16 NC State rifle team will return to action for the first time in 2012, with matches against Ole Miss and The Citadel Sunday, Jan. 15, in Oxford, Miss.

The rifle team is enjoying a record setting season thus far. The Pack tied the school record in smallbore (2267) earlier in the season. The record was fired against both Army and Nebraska. The team then proceeded to set a new school record in overall score (4575), which was also shot against Army.

Bryan Cross set a school record in smallbore with his score of 578 against Nebraska earlier in the season.
