RALEIGH, N.C. — Saturday’s baseball game between NC State and Florida State is officially a sell-out. With American Idol star Scotty McCreery of Garner slated to throw out the first pitch, the game immediately became a hot ticket, and a sell-out was announced late Friday.
Fans with tickets are urged to arrive early to avoid parking issues and to avoid a crush of traffic as game time approaches. Limited parking will be available in the West Lot across Sullivan Drive from Doak Field at Dail Park, and in the parking lots adjacent to the administrative services buildings on Sullivan Drive, also across Sullivan Drive from the ballpark.
Varsity Drive, which runs along the right-field line at Doak Field at Dail Park, will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 5 p.m. on Saturday. In addition, Thurman Drive and the Thurman parking lot along the left-field line will be available only to media prior to the game.
