Wolfpack Gridders to Earn Degrees

RALEIGH, N.C. - Twelve current and former members of the Wolfpack football team will earn their degrees from NC State on Saturday. Including the current group of graduates, 60 members of Tom O'Brien's squads have earned their degrees in the last seven NC State graduation ceremonies (spring and winter).

Current players Wayne Crawford, Mike Glennon, Steven Howard, Daniel imhoff, and Markus Kuhn will all be post-graduates when they take the field in 2011. Former players graduating include Gary Gregory, Paul Horst, Clem Johnson, Henry Lawson, Natanu Mageo, DeAndre Morgan and Marty Stoner.

"We are obviously proud of these young men," said head coach Tom O'Brien, "but this is what they came here to do. Being champions in the classroom is the main focus of our program and these guys are helping us accomplish that goal."
