No. 30 Pack Faces Two Road Tests This Weekend

RALEIGH, N.C. --- 30th-ranked NC State women’s tennis wraps up its road schedule this weekend with a Friday match with 18th-ranked Virginia and a Sunday contest against 56th-ranked Virginia Tech.
The Pack’s (11-6, 2-5 ACC) match with Virginia was originally scheduled for noon on Friday, but has been moved to 5 p.m. due to rain. Sunday’s tussle at Virginia Tech kicks off a 1 p.m.
26th-ranked doubles team Sandhya Nagaraj and Sanaa Bhambri will look to build momentum as the season winds down toward the ACC Championship beginning April 21. Separately in singles play, Bhambri is ranked 29th and Nagaraj sits in 83rd.
Virginia is led by 53rd-ranked Emily Fraser and features three more players ranked in the top-100: 53rd-ranked Lindsey Hardenbergh, 84th-ranked Hana Tomljanovic, and 99th-ranked Erin Vierra. Fraser and Tomljanovic constitute the 28th-ranked doubles team in the land. Maria Fuccillo and Rashmi Teltumbde make up the 52nd-ranked team, Hardenbergh and Vierra are ranked 56th.
Virginia Tech lacks any ranked singles, but features the 76th-ranked doubles team, Yasmin Hamza and Holly Johnson.
