Leslie Named to ACC All-Freshman Team

RALEIGH, N.C. -
NC State freshman forward C.J. Leslie was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team as announced by the conference today. The All-ACC teams were announced Monday following a vote of 75 members of the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association.
The local product from Holly Springs, N.C., leads the Pack in rebounding at 7.1 boards per game and is second on the team in scoring at 11.2 points.
On the season, Leslie ranks fourth in the ACC among freshmen in scoring, is second among all rookies in rebounding, and is second with four double-doubles. In conference games, Leslie ranks second in both scoring (12.1) and rebounding (6.2) among the league rookies.
In addition to Leslie, senior forward Tracy Smith earned honorable mention All-ACC honors. Smith currently leads the Pack scoring 14.1 points a game, although he has been hampered all season after having knee surgery just two games into the season.
