
Dunnagan in Top-20 After Two Days at Challenge

WESTON, FLA. – NC State women’s golf slipped to 11th after a second round 320 (+32) Monday at the Sir Pizza Cards Challenge.
Maureen Dunnagan held on to her top-20 standing by backing up a first round 76 with a 77 (+5) Monday. Dunnagan owns a share of 19th place heading into the final round Tuesday. With a tie for 13th or better tomorrow, the freshman will set a new career-best.
Brittany Marchand and Brooke Baker fell into a tie for 37th in the second round. Marchand posted an 82 after being the low Wolfpacker at 3-over Sunday. Baker carded an 81.
Amanda Baker fired an 80 and Ana Menendez notched an 82 to remain in the top-50, settling into a tie for 42nd and 49th, respectively. Playing as an individual, Hayley Hammond added an 81.
Florida International leads the team competition after rounds of 305 (+17) and 300 (+12) to hold a two shot advantage over Miami.
Sara-Maude Juneau from hosting Louisville leads all individuals after a second round 68, the low round of the tournament.
NC State tees off at 8:30 a.m. for tomorrow’s final round, paired with South Florida and Mississippi State.
