Charlotte, N.C. - The NC State football team checked into its bowl headquarters this afternoon, but many NC State staffers began their bowl preparations before the Pack even left Raleigh.
Various departments that normally work out of the Murphy Center had to set up shop on the road for the week. NC State has taken over the Westin Hotel in downtown Charlotte, and now the players and coaches continue to prepare for the Belk Bowl in a 'home away from home'.
