RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State rifle team will take to the road this weekend for matches against Army and Nebraska. The Wolfpack will compete against Army on Friday, Nov. 11, at 3 p.m., before taking on Nebraska on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 9 a.m.
Both competitions will be held in West Point, N.Y. Live scoring will be available for the first time for both matches this weekend. Head coach Keith Miller is very excited about the new addition.
“Using the live scoring, anyone can see the electronic targets display each shot for every shooter in real time,” said Miller. “It brings a new dimension to our sport, and has been very well received and popular.”

The Wolfpack will face tough competition this weekend from Army and Nebraska, who are both fellow Great American Rifle Conference members. NC State is ranked No. 19 in the latest College Rifle Coaches Association poll. Army is No. 6 in the poll, while Nebraska currently stands at No. 11.
In addition to the live scoring, full results will be posted on GoPack.com following the conclusion of each day.
Following the matches, NC State will resume competition Sunday, Nov. 20, against Memphis in Jacksonville, Ala. This will mark the final match of the 2011 year for the Pack.
