Bracket Set for Charleston Classic

RALEIGH, N.C. - ESPN Regional Television announced today the matchups for the 2010 Charleston Classic, set for Nov. 18, 19 and 21 at Carolina First Arena in Charleston, S.C. The Wolfpack will open up with East Carolina, on November 18 at 6:00 p.m.
The field for the third annual Charleston Classic will include Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, George Mason, Georgetown, NC State, USC Upstate, and Wofford. Four of the teams in the field played in the 2009-10 postseason, including NCAA Tournament participants Georgetown and Wofford. NC State played in the National Invitation Tournament, and George Mason played in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament.
In the first round of action Thursday, Nov. 18, Coastal Carolina will take on Georgetown at noon ET; USC Upstate will face Wofford at 2:30 p.m. ET; East Carolina will meet NC State at 6 p.m. ET; and George Mason and Charlotte will square off at 8:30 p.m. ET.
The third annual Charleston Classic, a bracket-format tournament, will feature 12 games in three days, Nov. 18-21. Each team will compete in one game per day, with the two teams that remain undefeated facing off in a championship match Sunday, Nov. 21. The championship game will be televised live at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
The Southern Conference (SoCon) will again serve as the event's sponsoring conference.
