Two Lucky Winners "Tee it up" with Tony Haynes

On Friday, July 23 Tony Haynes, Wolfpack Sports Network side-line reporter and color analyst, played a little golf with two lucky contestants at Crooked Creek Golf Club in Fuquay-Varina. Anthony Lucas of Raleigh and Alex Rowland of Apex were the lucky winners selected after they registered for the Crooked Creek "Tee it up with Tony" promotion through GoPack.com earlier in the summer.
The contestants were excited and relieved to finally get the round under-way, although it was 100 degrees on the 23rd. The outing was re-scheduled three times due to inclimate weather and other scheduling conflicts.
Lucas and Rowland were both looking forward to a "fun, friendly round of golf" and after the round they all agreed they had achieved that goal.
"It was a real pleasure to spend the afternoon playing golf with Anthony and Alex. Both are great Pack fans and I could tell they're counting down the days until the start of football season. As always, Drew and his staff at Crooked Creek were superb hosts. It's always a fun place to play, especially when the round is spent with great company," Haynes commented.
