NC State’s Pratt Maynard was one of 24 players named to the 2010 Cape Cod Baseball League’s postseason All-Star Team, announced this past weekend by league president Paul Galop.
Maynard, who was the starting catcher for the East Division team in the Cape League All-Star Game on July 28, earned team MVP honors for the Harwich Mariners this summer after batting .241 with seven doubles, two home runs and a team-best 20 RBIs. Maynard led the Cape League in walks with 32, compared with just 21 strikeouts, and ranked fourth in the league with a .414 on-base percentage.
