RALEIGH, N.C. – The New England Patriots have announced the signing of former NC State center Ted Larsen. Chosen in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft as the 205th overall selection, Larsen will serve as an offensive lineman for the Patriots.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed by the franchise but multiple media outlets have reported the agreement as a four-year deal that could be worth up to $1.87 million, including an $80,300 signing bonus.
Larsen spent two years on the defensive line for the Wolfpack before moving to center for his final two seasons. He played in 43 games while in Raleigh, making 30 starts. Larsen tallied 23 total tackles with four sacks on the defensive side of the ball.
