RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State will face Clemson in the first round of the 2010 ACC Tournament. The Pack takes on the Tigers this Thursday at 9:00 p.m. at the Greensboro Coliseum.
The Pack won three of its final four games of the season, including against Boston College today on Senior Day, and finished in a tie for ninth place in the final ACC standings. Clemson fell at Wake Forest today, 70-65, and will be the tournament’s No. 6 seed.
The Pack’s first game of the ACC Tournament will be broadcasted on Raycom.
Clemson won the lone match-up between the teams this season. Down by as many as 18 points in the second half, NC State cut the lead down to one point in the final minutes but could not over take the lead, as then-No. 24 Clemson held on to defeat the Pack 73-70 at the RBC Center on January 16.
