Wrestling's Bobby Ward Seeded #1 For ACC Championships

RALEIGH, N.C. — Bobby Ward, NC State’s sophomore 149-pounder, is the top seed in his weight class for the 2010 Atlantic Coast Conference Wrestling Championships, which will be held Saturday at Reynolds Coliseum.
Doors open for the tournament at 10 a.m. with the preliminary round starting at 11 o’clock. The finals will begin Saturday evening at 7.
Ward, who finished the season with a 23-7 overall record, which includes at 17-4 mark at 149, is one of three Wolfpack wrestlers who are seeded in the top four in their respective weight classes. Junior Ray Ward is the four seed at 165 pounds, and sophomore Quinton Godley is No. 4 at 174.
