Siegert Sets Air-Rifle Record

Charleston, S.C. - In the first day of the Collegiate Sectional, the NC State rifle team competed in the air-rifle portion of the sectional. The Wolfpack had a solid showing, finishing second overall, but first out of the SEARC members. As a team, the Pack had an air-rifle score of 2,305, which was just one point behind first place Columbus State, but ahead of the Citadel, Clemson, Mercer and Georgia Military.
Kat Siegert had a career day, shooting a school record 588. William Teller followed her with a air-rifle score of 578. Rachel Jones shot a 570, while Samantha Bullard rounded out the score with 569 points.
Bryan Cross finished the day with a score of 575. Martha Hall shot a 557. Mark Nations had a score of 547 points.
The Wolfpack with compete in the Collegiate Sectionals smallbore section tomorrow.
