Football to Hold Open Bowl Practice

Head coach Tom O'Brien and the NC State football program will hold an open bowl practice for all Wolfpack fans at Carter-Finley Stadium on Dec. 19 prior to the men's basketball against Arizona.
The 90-minute practice will begin at 2:30 p.m., with stadium gates opening at 1:30 p.m.
The Wolfpack men's basketball team will host Arizona at 4:45 p.m. at the RBC Center next door.
On Sunday, NC State accepted a bid to play No. 22 West Virginia in the 2010 Champs Sports Bowl at Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium in Orlando on Dec. 28. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and the game will be televised by ESPN.
The Wolfpack (8-4 overall, 5-3 ACC) will be making its second bowl appearance of O'Brien's four-year tenure at the school and its 25th all-time postseason appearance.
"We want to give our loyal fans an opportunity to see the team before we head to Florida," said O'Brien. "Then we hope all of those fans will follow us down there."
Ticket prices for the Champs Sports Bowl are $65 each, with NC State seating on the east side of the stadium. The Wolfpack Club priority deadline is Dec. 10. Tickets are available at the GoPack.com Ticket Center or through the NC State Ticket Office at (919) 865-1510.
