O'Brien Named Semifinalist for Paterno Award

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State head football coach Tom O'Brien has been named one of 15 semifinalists for the inaugural Joseph V. Paterno Coach of the Year Award, which is given by the Maxwell Football Club.
O'Brien, currently in his fourth year at the helm of the Wolfpack program, has steered his team to a 6-3 (3-2 ACC) record so far in the 2010 campaign.
The choice for the winner of the award will be based on success on the football field, in the classroom and in the community. Three finalists will be announced on December 6 and the winner will be announced on the 18th.
