RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State junior tight end George Bryan and senior linebacker Nate Irving were both named first-team All-ACC on Monday as announced by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA). Senior wide receiver Owen Spencer and junior quarterback Russell Wilson were both named second-team All-ACC.
Bryan, who collected first-team honors last year, is third on the team with 32 receptions for 344 yards. A pre-season all conference selection, Bryan has three scores on the year and was a semifinalist for the Mackey Award.
Irving, making his return after sitting out last season due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident, has led the Wolfpack defense all year after moving to middle linebacker. He leads the team in both tackles (93) and tackles for loss (19.5 for 70 yards), and has been named ACC Player of the Week at defensive back twice this season. He set an NCAA record with eight tackles for loss in the victory against Wake Forest, and was named the Walter Camp Football Foundation National Defensive Player of the Week following the win at Georgia Tech after registering a career-best 16 tackles.
Spencer leads the squad in both receptions (57) and yards (868) and is tied for the team lead in touchdown catches with four. His 2,397 yards ranks third in program history.
Wilson, who finished just two points shy of Virginia Tech's Tyrod Taylor for first-team honors, has thrown for 300 yards or more 12 times during his career, including eight games this season, and leads the conference in both total offense and touchdowns. He ranks second in the conference career record book for touchdown responsibility with 91, and has been named ACC Player of the Week at offensive back four times this season. The 2008 ACC Player of the Year and first-team quarterback, Wilson has completed 280 passes for 3,288 yards and 26 scores this year.
Senior offensive lineman Jake Vermiglio and junior defensive tackle J.R. Sweezy collected honorable mention honors.
Vermiglio has played 815 snaps on the year without allowing a sack.

Sweezy leads the team in sacks with six, is second in tackles for loss (13 for 39 yards) and stands sixth in total tackles with 46.
