RALEIGH, N.C.-- Since the NC State men's basketball game against Fairleigh Dickinson will overlap with the conclusion of Saturday's NC State-Maryland football game, the Wolfpack Sports Network will offer a dual broadcast of the two events.
Extended network radio coverage of both contests will begin with the football pregame show from College Park, Md., beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday. Gary Hahn and Johnny Evans will cover the action of the NC State-Maryland football game from Byrd Stadium. Mark Thomas will handle sideline duties.
At the conclusion of the football game the network will broadcast an abbreviated postgame wrap up before joining the men's basketball game, which will already be in progress from the RBC Center in Raleigh.
The men's basketball postgame show will be extended to include a complete wrapup from both the basketball and football games. NC State's flagship station, 101.5-FM, will follow the network broadcast plans.
Listeners in the Triangle area who wish to hear the men's basketball game in its entirety can tune to 99.9-FM at 5:30 p.m. for the full broadcast of the game. Neil Solondz will handle play-by-play duties and Tony Haynes will provide color analysis for the basketball broadcast.
