Pack Picked for 4th in ACC Preseason Poll

CHARLOTTE -- NC State was picked to finish fourth in the ACC in a preseason poll of media attending the 49th-annual Operation Basketball media day for players and coaches around the league.
Head coach Sidney Lowe's team received 526 points, trailing defending national champion Duke (743), Virginia Tech (632) and North Carolina (622).
Senior forward Tracy Smith picked for the preseason All-ACC team, along with unanimous selection Kyle Singler of Duke, Malcolm Delaney of Virginia Tech, Nolan Smith of Duke and Chris Singleton of Florida State.
Singler was picked as the ACC's Preseason Player of the Year, while North Carolina freshman Harrison Barnes was tabbed the Preseason Rookie of the year.
