Make sure a stop in the Wolfpack Fan Zone is on your game-day schedule on Saturday. The Wolfpack Fan Zone is located on the front lawn of the RBC Center and will open at 12:30 p.m. It is a carnival-like area that is packed full of activities for Wolfpack fans of all ages! A typical day in the Fan Zone will include interactive games and activities, coupons and product samples from restaurants and other vendors, vehicle displays, face painters, team autograph sessions and much more. Fans are also able to purchase Wolfpack merchandise and apparel from the NC State Bookstores on site in the Fan Zone.
Saturday's Fan Zone will feature the Coca-Cola concert tour as it makes a stop in Raleigh as part of its 60 city tour. Lisa Palleschi, a singer-songwriter from Long Island, will kick off the show. The Berklee School of Music graduate who has a new album scheduled for release in January will play for one hour. She will be followed by Junior, a pop punk/southern rock bank from Gladewater, Texas. Their style of music has a similar sound to Green Day, The Doors, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, and they have opened for bands such as Reel Big Fish, The All-American Rejects, and Everclear in the past.
Other displays and events in Fan Zone on Saturday are:
• Displays from Carolina Ford Dealers and John Deere
• Backyard Bistro and the Barbeque Lodge will be selling food.
• The NC State Swim Team will be signing autographs in the Moore and Johnson Insurance Autograph tent.
• Duck Tape will be on site featuring NC State Duck Tape.
