Rifle Began Spring Play

Palmyra, Pa. - The NC State rifle team took to the range at the Palmyra Tournament in Pennsylvania on Saturday, Jan 16. While there were no opponents, it gave the Wolfpack a chance to improve their skills for the first time during the spring semester. The Pack ended the day with a total team score of 4,515.
Kat Siegert led the Pack with a total score of 1,141, including a team-best 563 in smallbore. William Teller continued where he left off in the fall, shooting a total of 1,135, with a team-best 581 in air-rifle. Bryan Cross finished the tournament with 1,131 points.
Rachel Jones was right behind Cross, with a score of 1,125. Mark Nations shot a 554 in smallbore to contribute to his total score of 1,103. Samantha Bullard rounded out the day with a score of 1,100.
The Pack face No. 1 West Virginia tomorrow.
