In the Center with Ted Larsen
8/17/2009 12:00:00 AM | Football
NC State can’t move the ball on offense without a strong grip from center Ted Larsen.
Larsen, named to the watch list for the 2009 Rimington Trophy, was commended by the coaching staff as critical to the Wolfpack’s improvement in the second half of the season.
Larsen moved from defensive line to center in spring of 2008 and got comfortable with relative ease. He earned and kept the starting spot throughout the season while taking 730 snaps, the second-highest total for offensive players returning for 2009.
Larsen is one of four players on the squad who have already received their undergraduate degree.
