After settling in as a junior college transfer in 2008, Leroy Burgess looks to bring added size and stability to the defensive line this season.
Burgess had three tackles each against East Carolina and South Florida.
Burgress took a season-best 51 snaps against South Florida and was in for 390 snaps for the season. He is listed as one of State’s starting defensive tackles for 2009. Here’s more on the 6-foot-1, 300-pound senior.
