Right guard Andy Barbee received an upgrade on the field and in the classroom in 2009. After completing his undergraduate degree and enrolling in graduate school, Barbee progressed to the top of the depth chart at guard after three seasons as a backup center.
Barbee saw action in all 13 games for the Pack in 2008, including a season-high 29 snaps in the win at North Carolina. Barbee allowed just two sacks in 159 plays.
A 2005 graduate of Crest High School, Barbee was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll three years straight from 2005-2007. Here’s what Barbee's like away from the gridiron.
