Larsen Named to Rimington Watch List

Wolfpack senior Ted Larsen has been named to the Spring Watch List for the 2009 Rimington Trophy, which is awarded annually to the nation’s top center.  The Palm Harbor, Fla., native was a key to the Wolfpack’s success last season as he started every game after moving over to offense from the defensive line in the spring of 2008. 

Larsen, who earned the team’s Jim Ritcher Award for the Most Outstanding Offensive lineman, was in for 730 snaps from scrimmage last year, the second-highest total among offensive players returning for 2009.

The winner of the 10-year old trophy will be announced in January of 2010 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
