"Pack 4 Pink" A Success

Dear Wolfpack Softball Fans,

On behalf of NC State, I would like to thank everyone that supported and donated money to the "Pack 4 Pink" Breast Cancer Awareness / Fundraiser this past weekend during our home series with Florida State. We had an outstanding turnout in honor of Coach Kay Yow.

We raised over $1800 and, as Coach Yow always said, every penny helps. She went out of her way to thank our program last year when we hosted the first year of the event, and we will continue to do so every year as an honor to her. Coach Yow was a very special person to all of us, and we are all better people for having been around her.

Hopefully events like Pack 4 Pink and the Kay Yow Spring Football Game will get us one step closer to finding a cure.
