Degree Programs
At NCSU there are two programs that most Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainers will apply to at the beginning of the calendar year:
Adult & Higher Education
Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management (PRTM)
Adult & Higher Education
A graduate degree with a specialization in Adult and Continuing Professional Education is designed to prepare practitioners for leadership and teaching positions in their work with educating adults.
Deadline for application: the end of January (exact date changes annually)
Requirements: GRE (recommended 1000), 2 transcripts, residency form, TOEFL scores for international students, 3 references, resume, writing sample

PRTM
PRTM specializes in the planning and management of parks, recreation and sport areas and facilities, tourism attractions and leisure activities in a range of environments for all ages and lifestyles.
Deadline for application: the middle of April (exact date changes annually)
Requirements: 3.0 undergraduate GPA, GRE minimum of 500 on each section, 4 on writing assessment, transcripts, references, goal statements, 3 references
