Rifle Wins Third Consecutive SEARC Title

CHARLESTON, S.C. For the third straight year, the NC State rifle team won the SEARC Championship with a team score of 2,295 on Saturday, March 7, in Charleston, S.C. This is the Wolfpack’s fourth title overall. Freshman Rachel Jones led the Pack with an air-rifle score of 577. Senior Noel Keck, and juniors Samantha Bullard and Katie Siegert were named all-conference after the event. The Citadel, who hosted the event took second, and Birmingham Southern took third place.
In the individual competition, Nikita Dees of Birmingham Southern won the overall title, but Keck took second place. Siegert took third and Bullard placed fourth in the overall individual championship.
