In his sophomore year at the New Mexico Military JC, tallied 26 tackles, including 12 for a loss and 2.5 sacks... Also had one fumble recovery and returned it 14 yards... Attended Samoana High School, where he played for Coach Jeff Lynn, and played rugby and competed on the rowing team... Named to the Prep Star All-Midlands Region class of 2009.
