Wrestling All Finished After First Day At Vegas

Newcomers did the heavy lifting for NC State in the first day of action at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational on Friday, but all six Wolfpack wrestlers were eliminated by the end of Friday’s action.
Freshman heavyweight Eloheim Palma and junior 157-pounder Bobby Ward both advanced deep into the wrestleback rounds before losing in the round of 12. Palma and Ward both went 3-2 in the tournament. Ward improved to 6-3 on the season, and Palma to 11-3.
