Rifle Remains Unbeaten in SEARC Play

Dahlonega, Ga. - The NC State rifle team continued it's strong play in the SEARC and remain unbeaten in the conference. The Wolfpack had a total team score of 2,295, finishing in first place. The Citadel men were second with a score of 2,220, followed by NGCSU's score of 2,201. Rouding our fourth through sixth place was Wofford, the Citadel women and Mercer. Overall the top three scores and five of the top six were by NC State members.
Leading the Pack was freshman William Teller, who shot a 578 air rifle score. Kat Siegert also had a nice showing, with a score of 576. Rachels Jones was just behind Siegert, shooting a 575. Bryan Cross had the final score that counted with a 566.
Samantha Bullard had a solid day, with a score of 568. Martha Hall shot a 558. Freshman Amy Roderer had a score of 552. The final Pack member was Mark Nations, who shot a 532.
The Pack travel to Charleston, S.C. next weekend to play against Mississippi and TCU.
