The 2009 season is Cotchery’s sixth year in the NFL. In week three against the Tennessee Titans, Cotchery had nine receptions for 108 yards and one touchdown. Cotchery is averaging just under 16 yards per reception heading into the bye week. In week four against the New Orleans Saints, Cotchery had five receptions for 71 yards but only one reception for four yards in the Monday night loss to Miami and left the game with a hamstring injury. Cotchery did not play in week six against Buffalo or week seven against Oakland due to a hamstring injury.
