Rifle has Strong Start to Season

Charleston, S.C. - The NC State rifle team opened its season with a first place finish at the Citadel on Saturday, Oct. 3. The Wolfpack set a new school record air rifle score of 2,309. The Citadel finished second, followed by Georgia Military College and Clemson.
The Pack were carried by the senior duo of Samantha Bullard and Kat Siegert, along with Rachel Jones and Bryan Cross. NC State's top four held the top four individual scores of the enitre competition. Jones led all competitors with an air rifle score of 580. Bullard posted a score of 579, followed by Siegert's 578. Cross scored a 572.
The Pack will travel Lexington, Ky. next weekend to compete against Kentucky and Memphis.
