Rifle Sets Records in Loss to Army

As a team the Wolfpack had a total score of 4,572, with an air-rifle score of 2,313 and smallbore score of 2,259. These are all new NC State rifle team records, with the total score being 30 points better than the previous record. While it was a great performance, Army won with a total score of 4,638.
Freshman William Teller made his debut by leading the team in points, with a total score 1,149. His 569 in smallbore was a team high as well. Rachel Jones broke her personal smallbore record with a score of 568, while her total of 1,148 was second on the team and also a personal record. Kat Siegert had a nice outing as well, scoring a 1,143, with a team high of 583 in air-rifle. Bryan Cross continued performance with a personal record of 1,137. This included his own record of 562 in air-rifle.
Samantha Bullard had a total score of 1,126. Amy Roderer's total was 1,105. Mark Nations scored a total of 1,090.
The Wolfpack will take on Nebraska tomorrow at West Point, N.Y.
