Siegert Scores Personal Best in Air-Rifle

OXFORD, Miss. - Junior Katie Siegert shot a personal best 582 in air-rifle, and junior Samantha Bullard shot a career-high 556 in smallbore in the NC State rifle team's loss to Kentucky and Memphis. The Pack shot a team score of 4,515 (2,287 air-rifle/2,228 smallbore) to take third place on Saturday, Jan. 31, in Oxford, Miss. Kentucky took first place with a team total of 4,615 (2,306 air-rifle/2,309 smallbore) and Memphis placed second with 4,555 (2,310 air-rifle/2,245 smallbore).
Siegert led the team in both events, also shooting a 569 in the smallbore for the team high. Senior Noel Keck shot the second highest team air-rifle score of 573.
The Pack will face Ole Miss on Sunday, Feb. 1.
