Brown Picks Up Senior Bowl Honor

MOBILE, Ala. NC State’s own Andre Brown was named most outstanding player on the South team at the Senior Bowl this past Saturday, Jan. 24. The four-year Wolfpack letterwinner helped guide his squad to a 35-18 decision over the North.
Brown rushed for 31 yards on 10 carries and hauled in two receptions for 41 yards, including a 33-yard strike. His one-yard touchdown scamper in the closing minutes of the first half put the South up 21-3.
A tailback from Greenville, N.C., Brown finished his NC State career ranked seventh in school history in career rushing yards (2,539), seventh in rushing touchdowns (22) and 12th in career scoring (144 points).
