Presnell Named to 2008 All-ACC Academic Softball Team

RALEIGH, N.C. Allison Presnell was named to the All-ACC Academic Softball Team for the second year in a row, as announced by conference Commissioner John D. Swofford on Thursday, July 31.
A second-team Louisville Slugger All-Southeast Region team member in 2007, she finished her sophomore tour of duty with 11 extra-base hits, 18 RBIs and a .255 clip. Presnell holds the all-time school record for RBIs in a single game with six against East Carolina on March 28, 2007, when she ended the game in dramatic fashion with a walk-off grand slam.
A native of Harrisburg, N.C., Presnell is a biomedical engineering major.
